Payment icons display
Payment method icons for visa, mastercard, and paypal are displayed prominently on our checkout page, product pages, and website footer for your convenience.
Payment timing and authorization
- When you are charged: payment is authorized and charged at the time you place your order, not at the time of shipment. By completing the checkout process, you authorize us to charge the total order amount (including any applicable taxes) to your selected payment method at the time of order submission.
- Authorization holds: some payment providers may place a temporary authorization hold on your account for the order amount prior to final charge. This hold is not a charge and will be released according to your card issuer’s policies.
Currency
All transactions are processed in united states dollars (usd) . You will see the final charge reflected in usd on your credit card or paypal statement. If your payment method is denominated in a currency other than usd, your bank or payment provider will apply their current exchange rate and may charge additional foreign transaction fees. Ryze Superfoods is not responsible for any such conversion fees or exchange rate fluctuations.
Payment security
We take the security of your payment information seriously:

- We do not store full credit or debit card details on our own servers. All card payment processing is handled by our pci-compliant third-party payment processors (including paypal and our credit card processing gateway), which have been certified as level 1 pci dss compliant.
- When you choose to save your payment method for future purchases, your payment information is tokenized and stored securely by our payment processor, not on our own systems.
Payment failure
If your payment is declined or otherwise fails to process at checkout:
- The order will not be confirmed or fulfilled.
- You will receive an error message at checkout indicating that your payment could not be processed.
- Please verify that your payment method has sufficient funds, that you have entered all information correctly (including billing address matching your card’s registered address), or contact your bank/card issuer for further assistance. Once the issue is resolved, you may attempt to place your order again.
Billing information accuracy
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information for all orders placed through our site. You are responsible for promptly updating your account information (including billing address and payment method expiration dates) to ensure successful payment processing. We reserve the right to cancel any order if we are unable to process payment using the information you have provided.
Refund payment method
Any approved refunds issued under our return and refund policy will be credited back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
